IGNOU Imphal Regional Centre Admission 2024: Nalanda College is situated in Nalanda, Bihar. The Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi, issued Notification F.No.IG/RSD/03/2000/2157 on the 14th of November 2000, establishing the Imphal Regional Center, which became operational on the first of December 2000. Mr. Joseph Somi was the first IGNOU Regional Executive Officer of this RC (appointed as Assistant Regional Director).

As long as they were running, the three IGNOU Study Centers that had been around since the late 1980s were run by the Shillong Regional Center. Then, the Imphal Regional Center took over. Nine Study Centers and Program Study Centers were set up between 2000 and 2005. Five new Study Centers and one Program Study Center (1708P) were set up during this time, making nine. Imphal Regional Center is a big relief to all the students of Imphal who want to pursue courses like MA, BA, Diploma & certificate courses.

The registration portal is at @rcimphal.ignou.ac.in. Students need to fulfill all the eligibility criteria as specified in the prospectus & website. • MA: This is a two-year degree course, and maximum of 4 years, the candidates having bachelor’s degrees are eligible to apply for entries
