IGNOU University Admission

IGNOU University started the admission for all Online and ODL-offered courses for the January session. IGNOU every year begins the admission process in two cycles; January, and July. The admission process for both cycles follows paper-based and online modes. Applicants have to submit the filled-out application form before the deadline to avoid the late fee cost.

Late submission of admission forms may require any of the following additional fees such as INR 200, INR 500, or INR 1,000. The increment in the late fee determines the late submission of the admission form.

The original fee in the form of registration needs to be paid alongside the late fees. The initial enrollment fees are generally kept at INR 300. However, there are some exceptional programs with fees of INR 500 and INR 800, such as MSc MACS, PGMCH, MCOMFT, BCom CAA, etc.

IGNOU University Admission Cancellation

Candidates who have applied for admission to any IGNOU program. But, if they change their mind, and wish to withdraw or cancel the admission may do so by visiting the designated regional center.

The cancellation of admission does not allow for a refund of the registration fee. However, in the instances listed below, people can get their first semester’s fees reimbursed.

• Before the last date of admission form submission, candidates would 100 percent fee refund.
• The university deducts an amount of INR 500 within 15 days from the last date of submission.
• The period of 30 days from the last date of admission form submission allows the university to deduct INR 1,000.
• No refund will be offered after the admissions process has been completed for 30 days.

IGNOU University Application Form

IGNOU Application Form for admission to the selected cycles remains available online or offline. Candidates who want to apply online need to visit the Samarth Portal. But, Offline or paper-based application forms can be submitted by reaching the regional centre authorized by the IGNOU.
