IGNOU BBSR Admission 2024
It provides both modes (Online and Offline modes) for filling out the admission forms. For online mode, students can visit the @rcbhubaneshwar.ignou.ac.in.
IGNOU BBSR Assignment submission status can be checked now by going to the university’s official web portal. IGNOU Assignment submission process has started for the June TEE, 31 October 2024 is the last date for assignment submission for the June Term-End Examination. candidates don’t forget to submit the assignment by the time.
IGNOU BBSR UG Courses
- B.Lib.I.Sc.: Anyone with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a board of recognition can apply for the course.
- B.Com: Candidates who have passed intermediate with 50% scores can apply for the course.
- BA: Anyone with the clearance of inter is eligible to apply for the course. Candidates must have their passing from a board of recognition with eligible marks.
- B.Sc: Candidates who have passed 10+2 with a science stream from a recognized board are eligible to apply for B.Sc programs offered by IGNOU Bhubaneswar regional center.
- BCA: Students who have passed intermediate with mathematics as a compulsory subject are fulfilling the eligibility criteria for seeking admission to the BCA program. Such students can apply and start their careers in the computer application field.
- B.Ed: Students who have completed their graduation and two years of full-time teaching experience are eligible to apply.
- BSW: Bachelor of Social Work is the 3 years undergraduate course offered by IGNOU. One can enroll in the course after completing the 12th-class education from any recognized board in India.
IGNOU BBSR PG Courses
Several PG courses are available at IGNOU BBSR Regional Centre. Students can take admission to courses like MCom, MTech, MA, etc.
- M.Com: Candidates who have passed bachelor’s courses with 50% scores can apply for the course. They are to have cleared the UG course strictly in the commerce field.
- M.A: For M.A admission, students with a Bachelor’s or higher degree from a recognized University are eligible to apply for the Master of Arts program offered by the IGNOU Bhubaneswar Regional Center.
- MSc: Master of Science is the full form of MSc and the course is available at PG level. Students with a BSc degree can apply for admission. No entrance exam is required for admission.

IGNOU BBSR Regional Center History
- A variation in ability ratios can be seen at the IGNOU Bhubaneswar Regional Center. The male literacy rate is higher, at around 75%. It can be seen that female ability varies and increases such that 50% of the females score high. Since the Bhubaneswar Regional Center was founded, the group has expanded rapidly.
- A rise of 12,000 was seen in 2005-06, followed by an increase of 800+ in 2006-7. Among all stand-institutes enrolled, 6.45% belong to SC classes, 5.04% belong to ST classes, and 10.97% belong to OBC classes. This locale is used by about 37.25 percent of stand institutes.
